It’s imperative that attendees choose to take advantage of the NIRSA hotel room block. Staying within the block ensures financial support that subsequently keeps registration rates low for NIRSA Annual Conference attendees. If hotel room blocks do not fill, NIRSA will be responsible for penalties which will then affect the costs of future NIRSA events. Please do your part as a NIRSA member and support the Association by staying at a hotel within our block.

How to Make a Reservation

Hotel reservations can be made online within the group block using the website link provided to you along with your conference registration confirmation. A valid credit card will be needed to secure your reservation.

Getting to and around Pittsburgh

We have the tips and information you need to make it to Pittsburgh and to navigate the city. Pittsburgh is featured on Google Transit. This partnership with Pittsburgh Regional Transit allows visitors to search for public transportation routes using interactive Google Maps technology. Pittsburgh Regional Transit is the public transit agency for the Greater Pittsburgh area, providing bus, light rail, incline, and paratransit service to thousands of riders daily.

Flying? You’re going to love Pittsburgh International Airport! PIT, in airport parlance, is 18 miles from the convention center. It takes approximately 30 minutes to travel from the airport to the convention center. Uber, Lyft, and taxis will all be available.

Check out the light rail stations Free Fare T Zone located within Downtown Pittsburgh. This free transportation covers the nearby surrounding area of the conference center making exploring Pittsburgh that much easier.
