NIRSA has group rates at two Headquarter Hotels:
*Rates include complimentary wireless internet in the hotel rooms and discounted parking
*Rates listed above do not include tax; hotel occupancy tax is 12.57%.
We encourage you to stay with your colleagues and friends at an official Headquarter Hotel.
NIRSA relies on strong room block usage to secure conference meeting space, increase negotiation leverage for future conferences, and to help keep overall Annual Conference expenses down. When attendees do not utilize the block, it drives up costs for the following year due to financial losses.
Reservations
Hotel reservations can be made online within the group block by using the website link provided to you along with your conference registration confirmation. A valid credit card will be needed to secure your hotel reservation.
Multi-room reservations are possible. Details will be included in the hotel registration link.
Registration is set to open in December and early bird rates will last into early March. If you’ve already registered for the 2024 NIRSA Annual Conference and did not receive a confirmation/receipt—or if you’re having trouble locating it—please contact the NIRSA Billing Coordinator.
Conference Travel
Getting to and around Phoenix
If you’re flying, the closest airport is Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), which is only 3.8 miles away.
Uber or Lyft rates range from $18-$28 (one way). The Phoenix Lightrail offers transportation from the airport to a station just 0.3 miles from the hotels for $2.00 one way.

Once you’ve registered for the conference, log into the 2024 NIRSA Annual Conference & Campus Rec and Wellness Exposition Community of the NIRSA website; you can post or view inquiries for room sharing in the discussion forum there. Conference attendees are automatically enrolled in this convenient event community once they’ve registered for NIRSA 2024.
